Chinese Labour Corps III

After posting a couple of times on the Chinese Labour Corps I'm delighted that a reader informs me that the US-based academic Xu Guoqi has apparently done a major study in Chinese (and French) and is writing up a book in English on the CLC. Xu wrote the excellent China and the Great War (Cambridge UP 2005), a few years back which also has a section on the CLC. I look forward to Xu's book.

In the meantime - given that, as I've noted before, this year (now almost over) is the 90th anniversary of the Armistice I'm hoping more people become aware of the CLC that operated for both the French and the British in WW1. Here's a few pics of them:

Thank you for giving me such a good chance, let me be able to read this essay so good of a son, thank you very much.An offbeat from tradition and formality. mermaid wedding dresses are relatively less considered compared with common cascading ones. Yet there’s always a need to break away from the norm for a little while. Amber’s tea length wedding dresses favor you an untilled land to show off your talent and philosophy.
